Request a quote for stainless steel pipes, bars and other metals
To request a quote for stainless steel pipes or any metal from Jubilant Impex in Bangalore, send the material, grade, standard, form, size, quantity, test certificate needs and delivery location by email to contact@jubilantimp.com or WhatsApp +91 98441 25506. Complete details let us confirm availability and price without a round of follow-up questions.
Most delays in metal quotes come from missing details, not from the supplier. "304 pipe, 50 metres" can mean seamless or welded, Sch 10S or Sch 40S, pipe size or tube size, and each one is priced differently. The list below is what we need to quote correctly the first time.
Eight details for a fast quote
- Material: stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, copper, brass, aluminium and so on
- Grade: for example 316L, A106 Gr B, P11, EC grade, 70/30
- Standard: ASTM A312, A106, A335, BS 3059, IS or other
- Form: pipe, tube, round bar, hex bar, sheet, plate, strip, wire, fitting
- Size: pipe as NB and schedule (or OD × wall), bar as diameter or across flats, sheet as thickness × width × length
- Quantity: metres, pieces or kg, plus any fixed cut lengths
- Test certificate: standard certificate, mill certificate, IBR documents, EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, third-party witness
- Delivery location: site address or city and pincode
A sample enquiry with nothing missing
"ASTM A312 TP316L seamless pipe, 1 inch NB Sch 40S, 36 metres in 6 m lengths. Test certificate required. Delivery to Bommasandra, Bangalore 560099." That is one line, and nothing in it needs a follow-up question.
If you have a bill of materials or a tender list, send it as it is. We will quote line by line and flag any item where the specification is unclear or where we suggest an alternative.
When you are not sure of the grade
Send what you have: a photo of the stamping on the old pipe, a page of the old certificate, or a note on the service (steam at 10 bar, brine, food contact). Our guides on 304 vs 316 and the pipe schedule chart help with the two questions we are asked most.
Delivery and documents
Tell us where the material is going and whether you will collect from S.P. Road or need it sent. If the site needs specific documents with the goods, such as test certificates in a set format, IBR forms, or the PO number marked on every bundle, say so in the enquiry rather than at dispatch.

What information is needed for a steel pipe quotation?
Give the grade, the governing standard, seamless or welded, nominal size and schedule (or OD and wall thickness), length or quantity, end finish, test certificate requirement and delivery location. Missing any of these usually means a follow-up question before a price can be given.
How is stainless steel pipe priced?
Stainless steel pipe is usually priced by weight, per kg, or by length, per metre, for a given grade, size and schedule. Seamless costs more than welded in the same size, 316 or 316L more than 304, and thicker schedules weigh more per metre, so each changes the price.
Should I order pipe by schedule or by wall thickness?
Order by NB and schedule (for example 2 inch Sch 40) when your drawing uses ASME pipe sizes. Order by outside diameter and wall thickness in mm when you need tube or a non-standard wall. Do not mix the two in one line, as it creates ambiguity.
Can I get one quote for several different materials?
Yes. A single enquiry can include stainless pipe, copper bar, brass sheet and anodes together. List each item on its own line with grade, size and quantity, and the quote will come back in the same order.
What is the difference between random length and cut length?
Random length is the pipe or bar length as it comes from the mill, which varies within a range. Cut length is a fixed length you specify, cut from random lengths. Cut lengths reduce waste at your end but may add a cutting charge.
